[Solved] Vulkan shader compilation is disabled: dxcompiler.dll failed to load
EDIT: SOLVED by installing Microsoft Visual Visual C++ 2015-2019 Redistributable (x64) (on 64-bit Windows 10)
Running the game on Vulkan doesn't create the ShaderCacheVulkan folder at all. Some objects, such as an MTX portal effect and the Maven's Crucible's floor do not render at all, even after waiting for a long time. This is with a fast SSD. Loads of these kind of log entries: " Updated NVIDIA graphics driver, removed all existing PoE and NVIDIA (shader)caches, reinstalled PoE, ran PackCheck for the .ggpk file, nothing helped. Cache folder does get created normally with DX11. PoE worked normally before 3.14. Can it be that more people are actually experiencing this issue, considering how many people have issues with slowly loading or missing textures etc.? On DX11 everything renders normally, but it is slow and laggy compared to Vulkan. Last edited by Pobra#6532 on Apr 27, 2021, 9:30:14 AM Last bumped on Apr 26, 2021, 1:22:19 AM

This issue was solved by installing Microsoft Visual Visual C++ 2015-2019 Redistributable (x64) (on 64-bit Windows 10).
@GGG: Why is this runtime not included in the game installer? Obviously it is required at least for Vulkan, and not everyone necessarily has it already installed! |
