Profane Proxy and malediction

Hi, i'm reading a few threads on profane proxy + skittebots using your curse stats. I'm just hoping for clarification - would malediction work with profane proxy? How can we increase the area of the curses? Would our curse effetiveness affect curses applied by skittebots?

Curse limit? Yes.
"Enemies you Curse have Malediction" won't work since you don't curse enemies in this case.

The ring allows skitterbots use our curse skill, our skills use our stats. Hex Master notable will increase AoE of curses they apply as well as general AoE mods. Same with curse effect.

Support gems linked to Skitterbot gem won't affect the curse, it should be linked to the curse skill itself but unfortunately the ring has only one socket.

Thanks, but this all seems a bit convoluted. Surely increased AOE linked to summon skittterbots would increase the curse area? Would windshriek work to increase the curse area?
