Alter / splitting MTX

Hey everyone,

for those who bought one or another mystery box always struggle to
decide if they should merge or not...

my suggestion would be to implement an option to split back those mtx.
For example the actual apollyon box.
i got the complete merged set but sadly it doesnt fit any of my styles.

So what about the option to split already merged items into their 2 original items?
Dont like apollyon armor? just split them back into darkshade and lightbringer.
And if your new char better match the merged design? Just do it.

There is no difference in points.

Why i dont see any problems with it?
Because you already own the item.

What u think about?

I'm on your side and think that whole MTX system must be redone a long ago to transform from separate character bound piece-goods into account wide skins, maybe for exception of pets, but...

You don't own items that you merged anymore. This enough for GGG to tell you buy more boxes or wait while box content will be available on shop.

I mean, we still must to have two weapon effects if they not get from challenges or support packs. In 2021. In system where you practicaly can use same effect on both weapons... if you get it from challenges or support packs =\

Technically you own them.

You got both and merged.
There is no other way to get them except for merging OR buying when they are in the shop 4 months later.

you have permission to use the account and the unlocked features of your account but you own none of it and your permissions can be revoked at a moments notice.

but as good of an idea as your is functionally, it would ultimately lead to a cosmetic meta where players own both base sets but never the combine and only combine from time to time when they want that look... in other words GGG literally cuts that revenue stream in half.
