Constant Disconnects this league
System
Amd 5600x Radeon 5700XT 16GB RAM 1TB NVME SSD Windows 10 Pro Issue: Since launch I keep getting disconnected frequently. At times it's every minute or two; others it is every 5-10 minutes, and others yet maybe 20-30 minutes. I'm level 47 and haven't been able to do Labs yet because of this. It also makes doing Ultimatums nearly impossible. In addition I two have ISPs. A local WISP that I have had for a long time and also recently Starlink. I tend to use the WISP for gaming for the slightly better ping however I have used Starlink when testing the issue. It is not any better or worse disconnect wise than the WISP. Troubleshooting thus far: 1.) I've bypassed the PoE folder in my AV. 2.) Drivers and OS are fully up to date. 3.) Verified game files with Steam. 4.) Tried every server in the US. 5.) Tried both DX11 and Vulcan 6.) WINMTR results below. Logs from today: https://pastebin.com/SfyVzc4Z WISP WINMTR https://www.dropbox.com/s/2b1i2u9le47hncr/Wisp.JPG?dl=0 Starlink WINMTR https://www.dropbox.com/s/5qlkqvbrtsj996s/Starlink.JPG?dl=0 There are some losses along the way but nothing I would deem unexpected mainly that ICMP packets are deprioritized in ISP routers and switch gear. I'm pretty much out of options that I can think of. Any suggestions? Last edited by odwill#2603 on Apr 22, 2021, 2:44:19 PM Last bumped on Apr 22, 2021, 8:15:17 PM

" Both WinMTR report shows high jumps in latency from 2 or 3 line = ISP connection issue as far as I can see. Is that radio/wireless ISP connections ? |

Thank for the input. On Starlink I would agree with you. On the WISP connection (fixed point to point wireless); while there are occasional peaks the average is perfectly fine. A 150ms response or a dropped packet or two should not cause a disconnect especially when using Predictive instead of Lockstep as I am.
Edit: I ran a longer duration WinMTR and Ping. Still looks acceptable to me. |------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------| | WinMTR statistics | | Host - % | Sent | Recv | Best | Avrg | Wrst | Last | |------------------------------------------------|------|------|------|------|------|------| | 192.168.30.254 - 0 | 3915 | 3915 | 0 | 0 | 7 | 0 | | 10.200.100.1 - 1 | 3896 | 3891 | 0 | 0 | 42 | 0 | | 100.64.63.1 - 1 | 3903 | 3900 | 2 | 7 | 106 | 48 | | 10.200.90.97 - 2 | 3750 | 3708 | 3 | 8 | 126 | 13 | | 173.246.229.73 - 2 | 3767 | 3729 | 10 | 19 | 172 | 18 | | 38.140.148.121 - 2 | 3763 | 3724 | 11 | 18 | 157 | 16 | | be3163.rcr21.phl01.atlas.cogentco.com - 2 | 3751 | 3709 | 11 | 18 | 153 | 18 | | be2364.ccr41.jfk02.atlas.cogentco.com - 2 | 3767 | 3729 | 24 | 31 | 177 | 32 | | be2915.ccr21.alb02.atlas.cogentco.com - 2 | 3739 | 3694 | 16 | 23 | 168 | 19 | | be2088.ccr21.ymq01.atlas.cogentco.com - 2 | 3711 | 3659 | 21 | 28 | 178 | 25 | | be2089.rcr21.ymq02.atlas.cogentco.com - 2 | 3743 | 3699 | 32 | 38 | 175 | 42 | | 38.140.46.2 - 2 | 3715 | 3664 | 32 | 38 | 177 | 42 | | 184.107.1.173 - 2 | 3758 | 3718 | 22 | 29 | 168 | 24 | | 107.161.71.172 - 2 | 3763 | 3724 | 22 | 28 | 162 | 31 | |________________________________________________|______|______|______|______|______|______| WinMTR v0.92 GPL V2 by Appnor MSP - Fully Managed Hosting & Cloud Provider Ping statistics for 107.161.71.172: Packets: Sent = 823, Received = 816, Lost = 7 (0% loss), Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds: Minimum = 22ms, Maximum = 175ms, Average = 29ms Last edited by odwill#2603 on Apr 22, 2021, 4:57:23 PM

Just because I am certain this is not a network issue\isp issue;
I installed Steam and PoE on my work laptop (I7 with a 1050ti and 16GB of RAM). Played for a bit over a hour without any disconnects or issues whatsoever. Quit on the laptop, loaded up PoE on my PC and was disconnected 3 times in 5 minutes. Moved back to my laptop and played for 30 minutes straight no issues. I'm pulling my hair out here... |

After 6 hours of fighting this it was resolved by a fresh install via steam. This thread can be closed.
