Venopuncture Bleed Shatter

Does anyone know how shatter damage works here? I know enemies are getting shattered, I hear the audio. What type of damage is it dealing and how is it calculated? I already have bleed explosions as a glad, and it's doing both bleed explosions and bleed shatters.

No one knows what Shatter does in this situation? :(

Shattering does not deal damage, but removes corpse and most on death effects, like porcupine spikes.
