Vulkan Renderer excessive texture pop-ins

Hi,

Since the pre-patches for Ultimatum I have been experiencing what can be considered a excessive amount of texture pop-in and very delayed textures load times.

Example: https://imgur.com/a/aXdkGbZ

- This is usually followed by huge FPS spikes

- This happens on pretty much every area that is loaded (Even when entering areas that should be using the same texture set)

I have lowered all my graphical settings, to no avail, I have also tried multiple combination of settings and did not experience any substantial increase in performance with any kind of settings combination.

== What I have tried without positive results===

- Re-installing my video drivers using the latest available version
- Uninstalling POE client (I use the steam client)
- Deleting POE temp folders from %appdata% and x:\users\x\documents\mygames
- Making sure windows is up to date

== My current specs ===

Operating System: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit (10.0, Build 19042) (19041.vb_release.191206-1406)

- Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700K CPU @ 4.00GHz (8 CPUs), ~4.0GHz
- Memory: 32768MB RAM
- Card name: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080
- GPU Driver Version: 27.21.14.6611 (466.11)

Any suggestions?

Please note that the performance using my environment has been deteriorating from patch to patch, I was able to get "acceptable" (In poe terms :) ) performance in Ritual League, issues only started after post-ritual patches.

I'm currently installing the standalone (no-steam) client in hopes it makes any improvements.

I would love to try a new GPU but unfortunately the current shortage does not allow it, and I can run any other AAA games without apparent issues. (including other titles that use Vulkan Renderer)

Any suggestions would be appreciated, I really love this game, but in its current state for me, I will not be able to enjoy this league and will have to shelve it.

Update:

The issue seems to have been resolved by simply switching from the Steam POE client to the Stand alone POE client.

(Always delete temp folder data in between installations:

%appdata%\Path of Exile
C:\Users\X\Documents\My Games\Path of Exile

If you face similar issues and use Steam to play POE, give it a go on the stand-alone client, worked wonders for me.
