Texture loading problem

I have always been playing path of exile with somewhat good performances, but since ultimatum patch I'm having huge texture bugs (it looks like missing textures) which cause some huge performance losses. I've been having consistently playing with 60 fps since delirium and now i frequently have around 10 fps while mapping, plus huge parts of texture missing in the middle of my screen. I've tried clearing my cache and verifying integrity of game files and nothing did change. Thanks for any help ! (sorry my english may be hard to understand i guess ?)

Assuming that you are using the stand-alone client then try this -->

1. Close the game.

2. Delete EVERYTHING inside the following directory's -->

C:\Users\"windows account name"\Documents\My Games\Path of Exile\Countdown
C:\Users\"windows account name"\Documents\My Games\Path of Exile\DailyDealCache
C:\Users\"windows account name"\Documents\My Games\Path of Exile\Minimap
C:\Users\"windows account name"\Documents\My Games\Path of Exile\MOTDCache
C:\Users\"windows account name"\Documents\My Games\Path of Exile\ShopImages

C:\Program Files (x86)\Grinding Gear Games\Path of Exile\ShaderCache
C:\Program Files (x86)\Grinding Gear Games\Path of Exile\ShaderCacheD3D11
C:\Program Files (x86)\Grinding Gear Games\Path of Exile\ShaderCacheVulkan

3. Now open a "command prompt" as "an administrator" and run this program -->
C:\Program Files (x86)\Grinding Gear Games\Path of Exile\PackCheck.exe

4. now right click on your PoE icon and select "run as an administrator"

EDIT.:
Indeed it looks like the shadercache folder are moved. So depending on if you use Vulcan or DirectX, then empty these folders also -->

C:\Users\"windows account name"\Documents\My Games\Path of Exile\ShaderCacheD3D11
C:\Users\"windows account name"\Documents\My Games\Path of Exile\ShaderCacheVulkan
Hi,

Are you by chance using the Steam Client?

I posted a similar thread today : https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3083988

-It seems my issue was resolved by simply start using the stand-alone client instead of the steam poe client.

- Make sure to always clear %appdata%\Path of Exile and C:\User\x\Documents\my games\ path of exile in between installations.

- My texture loading and overall performance increased exponentially by just uninstalling the Steam POE client and start using the stand-alone poe client instaed, give it a go if you are still using steam to play POE.
Hi,
Thank you very much for your answer, unfortunately, it did not change anything for me. Im a bit suprised because it looked like we had the same exact problem.
Same problem, i'm fighting invisible monsters for the first 10-30sec in every instances, feelsbad
Same problem here. Still no news?
Hi, thank you everyone for your answers :)
In display settings, i've changed my renderer from Direct X11 to Vulkan (beta), i still have some pretty big fps losses, but it became somewhat playable, hope it works for you guys too.
