PATH OF EXILE HAS SPONGEBOB PHYSICS #change my mind

reasons why

.1 ignite damage over time
the actual definition of ignite:
ig·nite
/iɡˈnīt/verb: to catch fire or to make to catch fire.
correct me if im wrong but last i checked if something is already "ignited"? in order for said thing to take damage overtime that mean's that it is burning
why is it that burn damage is not ignite damage....makes positively no sense...
so i suppose that if my char was ignite damage based that its actually striking a bic lighter at lightspeed to do damage

2.hydro sphere can be used with added fire ignite and actually burn enemies..
last i checked you used water to put fire out.. not make a fire well unless the person or thing is covered in pure potassium

3.how does bleed work if the creature logically shouldn't have blood? like a skeleton, stone golem,a ghost,or things litterally made of blood ...what kind of blood comes out of a stone golem? portland concrete?

4. how do ghosts in this game take phys damage....they are even physical things speaking of.. i am now gonna go out side and try swinging at fog and see if this is true

this makes my brain hurt to think of lol

Trying to reflect real world physics in fantasy video game ...
Belive me, if you find a man in the real world who can cast fireballs and lightning from hes hands, he can also make concrete bleed and ghosts take physical damage and run 200 km/h.

Spongebob physics questions:

Context: my character has been getting sulphite intoxication and then zipping around the map.

Question 1: I think it is when doing an atlas area with big sulphite buffs from Maven. Is that correct?
Question 2: Is all this sulphite intoxication going to destroy my character's brain like it did to Niko?
Question 3: Am I personally going to start getting paranoid and ... and ... what was I saying ... hmmm ... Are they coming back? I think so.

Ignite is a type of burn, but burn isnt a type of ignite.

Hence if you scale your burning damage with a ignite build, it will still get increased damage (So you can use burning damage support)

It's like if you are born in New York, you are also from America, but if you are born in America it does not mean that you are from New York.

Winner. Best answer. /thread
Take a blowtorch to something, you are burning it and it will take "ignite" damage but it isn't on fire because as soon as you remove the heat source it isn't on fire (at least not without prolonged exposure)

Yeah like in all those fantasy games where you're strong enough to kill a villain who destroys planets and universes and shit but not strong enough to open a locked chest/door

Or how about how your character isn't strong enough to equip some plate armor but is strong enough to easily carry a dozen of them in their pockets
