Although I won't say TFT is absolutely scam-proof, it does have a reporting system and if you're really paranoid you can check it before you message a guy who has a needed craft.

Collateral is something you run into more on non-TFT trade which is moderated only by GGG so you know you're S.O.L. if your item gets bricked or thieved. Personally I wouldn't do any trades or crafts there unless it's someone whose name you know and trust from other situations.

One more thread that's simply begging them to remove trade all together... maybe without even realizing it.

This would be fire, but what mechanic would transfer to standard? I wonder if there could be a completely isolated no-trading perma league where drop rarity mattered and crafting and SSF was rewarding. Could be something.
