Moving to Standard SSF - build suggestions?

As a way to learn the game better (esp. crafting) I’m moving to Standard SSF where I’ll have a decent length of time to build a few chars. I’ll still do leagues to get the 24 challenge goodies but otherwise will concentrate on Standard SSF.

Could I get a few ideas on suitable builds - minion, ranged and melee?

I’m thinking Carrion Golem and Arc are two obvious choices but would love to hear a about more which are good SSF choices. Eg some kind of jugg build for lab.

Honestly all I have played since they introduced SSF is that mode exclusively.

ALL builds are possible on SSF depending on how patient you are or how much time you have on your hands.

I would not go for a golem build first because the golem jewels really help and you'll want to farm some of the primordial cards up before actually having a pretty good build.

You can really make anything work in SSF. Think of it as league start. What do you usually play on league start? All of those builds will work.

Minion necro, bladefall blade blast chieftain or assassin, cold dot occultist, bleed glad (eq or bow)... many options.

If you are going to standard SSF, then you really have no time constraint so everything will work eventually.

Feel free to thumb through my ssf chars for some inspiration.

Good luck! :)
If you do not have SSF Standard chars yet, the normal league start rules apply. You either go with something that doesn't need any key items or very good gear to work and farm until you got the key items for another build you prefer.. Or you go with a scalable build with no or target farmable key items and stay with it. Normal SSF builds just don't need Uber-Elder items to be able to kill Uber-Elder.

Once your stash is filled, it is not much different from trade, except less perfect items.
