TFT mods are laughing at the dev manifesto :(

I'm tempted to laugh but its just sad really. From the manifesto:

"
Players also expressed frustration that the most effective way to get the best items in Path of Exile was to join a discord channel and try to trade for these incredibly crucial crafts.

The first part of this that concerned us was that Harvest was critical in making the best items (and hence made many other game systems obsolete). The second part, where it was inconvenient to trade them, becomes far less of a problem if we can solve the first issue.

So they think that by nerfing the top end of what Harvest can produce, they also fix the discord incentive. If no one wants to buy harvest crafts, no one has to feel badly about being drawn toward or incentivized to use an unsecure 3rd party service purchasing method.

But GGG's changes clearly didn't go far enough b/c you can see the mods of the trading discord laughing at them in the Reddits:

As a CM in tft, this hit me too and had me kinda confused and laughing a bit. ‘We noticed players disliked using a discord to get crafts’ then they nerf getting crafts even more to make it more rare and have to use discord more? :D :D WeirdChamp shit lol

It's disappointing to me GGG doesn't just won't balance Harvest to be like Bestiary.

That said, if I understand the changes, I don't see TFT being that a big a deal anymore.
Harvest is just as mandatory as before. Discord is just as mandatory as before. That is, if you care about efficiency you are 100% required to use them. GGG fixed nothing with their manifesto.

TFT mirror service item holders are going to make even more currency if they don't powerspike gear in the next league. They're laughing all the way to the bank. So yeah Chris unwittingly made TFT more powerful in every way.
Its not about making crafts rarer. IT's about removing the crafts that allows to just reroll the same mod over and over until its tier 1. So yeah it'll shut down the TFT activities by a whole damn lot.

Its like you guys don't understand the nerfs.

They do.

You seem to fail to understand that Harvest will still be more efficient than, in Chris's words "closing your eyes and spamming exalts".

If it is still the most efficient, TFT will still be the main path to endgame, which is flat out stupid.

You can still spam add influence to get most of the time a 1 in 2 chance of getting a really good influenced mod. You can still add stuff , which still makes crafting explody chests easy. You can still spam influence on bone helmets , titanium spirit shields etc etc to create bases that normally would drop like 40-50 times a day from normal players.

There is still insane stuff that you can do with harvest , and i couldnt care more about tft since im trying to actually play the game and not a trading bullshit simulator.

Still i would like for tft to actually die out , since its another one of those third party sites that you have to use to do something ( like poeninja , poedb and add many other to the list ) , where there is zero explanation ingame. ( Would be cool to get something ingame that resembles poedb but i guess one can dream )

The change i actually dislike the most is the one where they reduced the amount of crafts , since i spammed every harvest that wasnt ultra valuable on jewels and got some 20-30ex jewels out of it. I also wasted all the rerolls i got from every harvest on jewels , which is now significantly worse with less avaiable crafts.

Exalts are a bad comparison because most crafting options are better than they are IMO. In fact I think Annulment Orbs became the de facto "slam and hope" item since their introduction.

While I don't think the removal of remove mods will kill TFT, it's still going to be one less ridiculously rare craft to look for.

ya because they didn't nerf it enough.

if you feel obligated to trade the crafts or use the crafts immediately (as not to fill your horticraft station and miss out on something) then they're still too strong.

as soon as ANYTHING is "obligatory" it is too powerful.

yes yes you can still ways skip out on it all you want, but the feeling of losing out on SO MUCH by doing so makes it feel obligatory
Yes you can still add influence mods into a gear but thats only when starting to craft. If you add influence mods into an almost finish ( you already have 4 or 5 mods you really like already ) and you get a bad mod, there is no way you remove them easily unless its very specific crafting gear only. Only way is to annul and risk removing the others you want to keep.

I dont think many will swarmed to TFT to do multiple Harvest craft. Volume will definitely drop a lot. Plus influence mod only appear on T4 seed. How often you get T4 seeds? Yes it will be more expensive than now but you there is no Rem/Add influence mods...only add!

Why should I believe you over a guy who is so invested in the craft trading scene he mods the discord?
