Very constant Disconnects

I know in the known bugs you say that disconnects are being tracked, but I just wanted to drop a line.
I'm facing disconnects on a very frequent basis. For example just got to Mudflaps opened the secret cave there. Once I went in I got a disconnect. Basically, my spells do no dmg, monsters I was fighting follow me about but do nothing else. New Monsters just sit there. And I can't exit out of that area. Only option is to log out and back in again. Problem is once the first disconnect happens, it basically happens constantly and I'm forced to stop playing because I'm not progressing. This is not happening to Diablo3 Beta, GW2 Beta, or any of the online games I play (Wow, SWTOR, etc) so I know its not my connection. At this point I don't bother logging in cos I know after X minutes I will face a disconnect and from then on there's no point playing any more. |

Are you using a Torrent program in the background? Some torrent clients have been known to cause constant disconnections with the game, and it's something we're looking into. Try disabling any torrent clients, resetting your router, and trying again. Not all torrent clients have this problem, it may only be with uTorrent.
If this isn't the case, let me know and we'll be able to show you how to investigate your connection and help us find where the problem is. Balance & Design

Nope no Torrent programs. I am running Norton 360 though, hopefully that isn't the problem.
That aside also running FRAPS, and that's about it. |

I was having a similar problem today - where I had a whole bunch of disconnects - I would get about 2-10 minutes of play before the next disconnect. I looked around and saw this post. I thought to myself - I have no torrents but what else might me causing problems. I turned off my microsoft media extender (which comes up in response to either my xbox or roku) and I haven't had a disconnect since. It might be coincidence but maybe it might be a full or partial causative.

I guess try turning off anything that could be affecting stuff, if we know software that is causing problems, we can take step to avoid their connection interruptions.

Avg Latency = ~48
Frame Rate = ~11 FPS = ~111 Happened again today. I was exploring Lower Submerged (the cave) and was fine for about 15-20 mins. Then the first disconnect happened in the flooded Depth (1 lvl below). After that, I log out then in and it's fine while in town and fine going thru the waypoint and maaking my way to the Flooded Depth. But once I get down there (Flooded Depth) it will disconnect after exploring a while. Although now I can see when I disconnect cos Latency flatlines. |

oh my god i killed brutus and 5link bow dropped, my invetory was full so i went to town and boom i got disconnected... this s**ks
