Bug Reports (Path of Exile 1) - Item on Cursor lost on death - Forum

Hey, I was just in the Sacred Grove and unequipped a ring I used to craft it there. That disabled my purity of fire and I died to burning ground. When I reentered the Grove my ring was gone. I searched the ground and all crafting stations but it's not there anymore. Is it possible to restore the ring or is it intentional that items on cursor get deleted on death?
