The Slave Pens minimap revealed bug? [Probably global minimap bug]

I finished the fourth act and ran through the "Ascend" location. At the next location "The Slave Pens" I used the waypoint and teleported to the location "Highgate" after a few moments afk I returned the waypoint to "The Slave Pens" and the minimap was fully revealed.

I think the bug is global. After completing the task in "Wetlands" in act 6, I returned to the waypoint of "The Riverways" and again I see the uncovered map.
