GGG i'm sure will be familiar with these: early peter jackson budget horror films, badtaste and braindead.. apart from those, i'd have to say the top 2 on the OP's list.. and possibly a cheeky historical film such as the king's speech, downfall or the motorcycle diaries.. i also really like films about true stories! like Defiance
