MTX weapon swapping does not work

Using a dual wand build with a weapon swap to staff, bought the demonic staff mtx and then bought a transcendence dagger, was planning on buying two daggers but realized after equipping that the dagger on the right hand does not swap when switching to staff. Meaning you could only have the dagger in that hand and when you switch to the staff it doesn't let you equip the staff mtx because the dagger is still there even though it doesnt work on the staff. Is this a bug?
