Can't link to Steam

So I'm working on linking this account to steam,but I keep running into an error when I do so. I get all the way to allowing Path of Exile to access my Steam ID,but when I press allow it leads me to a page saying "The resource you are looking for does not exist or has been removed." My steam account works,so I don't really know what's going on here,I did the steps correctly,right?

Looks like you're posting from an empty-ish Path of Exile account. Do you usually play through Steam?
If so, log out of the current account you're in and back in using the green "Sign in through STEAM" button to the right of the login page.

 Then use the Manage Connections page to add an email address and password to your Steam Path of Exile account. Doing so will allow you to use both the Steam and standalone Path of Exile clients to play. If the email address you request is already linked to a Path of Exile account, you will either need to choose another email address for your Steam account, change the email address associated with your secondary account, or contact us at support@grindinggear.com so we can free it up for you! :) | |

Alright so,I got a verification email to link the email to my steam,but when I click the link in my mail,it it brings me to a page saying I do not have the authority to access this area. Any ideas on how to fix? :o
