Why is it this ring always has the same inherit value of 1-3? it never varies. All the other rings randomly get different values for their inherit stat.

I don't know if this is a bug or intentional, but it's weird. Should make it random 1-3 min, 3-6 max or something so it stops irking me. Maybe the min/max range should even scale with item level, so an iron ring dropped in a higher level zone will have more base potential then one found in a low level area.

While I agree that things like iron rings and conductive quivers should scale ever so slightly, I think the reason why the values are purposely kept low is because damage already scales quite well. I'm sure at the time these items were implemented, their values were kept static for balancing purposes. We'll have to wait for .99 before we can justify increasing the damage values on these items if GGG hasn't done so already.
I complained/asked about the jewelry forever ago.

I believe (if not mistaken), there will be more added in the future. Hopefully it hasn't already and I just let it slip by ;D
I'm fairly certain there are more plans for the jewelry system but I have no idea what those are.

To me, "iron" implies there might be better metal rings later on. And those would probably add more dmg.

I believe it was chris that stated in that video where he was interviewed about POE in general and what to expect for the new patch - that they wanted certain items to scale better, such as iron ring or quivers.

So it's being worked on, but I dunno if it'll be ready for the next patch which is almost due.
