I believe the 2% reflect on non-split phase hasnt changed from the start. Why did it become an issue only recently? The answer is because avg HP of builds remained the same (probably even lower than before with nerfs to CI and Kaoms) while avg DPS has skyrocketed from 300k to 3kk. Further nerfs to VP and leech further restricts the number of builds that can handle it unless equip certain gear like reflect reduced rare chests and rings, or Sibyl (make sure it is the correct side depending on whether you are phys or ele build) and Yugul pantheon. The link shared in previous comment has more details.

It is troublesome which is why I try to be comfortably res capped with an unused spare ring slot which I can swap between a rare ring for overcapping res, Sibyl, Timetwist, Dream Fragments, Ming's Heart, etc.

Actually, if I may disagree, your HP is not the problem but the build having too much dps. After all, how to reach enough HP to avoid reflect of 5 million dps?

But yes op, as many say, this is the kind of situation that is expected the one to adapt to the fight and not the boss being adapted to the one.

But, beyond what had being said already, you cant reach reflect immunity from even the tree. You reach 60 % of elemental between witch and shadow and 60 % physical between duelist and marauder. Yougul's gives another 25%. Jewels can have 10% as implicit. Influenced Chest (I don't remember by whom) may have 100% to you and your minions. Shaper's rings may have up to 55% of elemental and Elder's ring up to 55% of physical.

Extra information: be aware that if you reach 100% reflect avoidance ou still may suffer damage from reflect if you are shocked. Crazy, I know... that is why I use a shocked ground immunity on my bots and than I don't even have to read the maps mods before put it on.
