The concept is to use Cold to Fire with Freeze Pulse and Arctic Armor to never fear Reflect mobs again, and also to be hipster cuz you're not using run of the mill FP. Ignite is fun too.

Basically since C2F converts 70% of your FP damage to Fire (quality bonus is +%spell damage), after your Fire Resists, any reflect damage you'd take would get reduced by the flat amount of Arctic Armor. Which would make you take only the 30% of the damage that remained Cold, but after Cold Resists and the fact that you don't have +Cold Damage nodes, that damage would be negligible.

Even though you might be "gimping" yourself by going [some-what] dual elements, with your high crit chance you'd be Igniting mobs, which does 4/3 of the damage over 4 seconds. Effectively doubling the damage of a crit. And since you still do cold damage, you still freeze (though the duration is so low, it becomes a mini-stun), which can still be useful/fun.

Another benefit of using Arctic Armor is that it reduces physical damage taken by a flat amount. Which means that with an average/decent armor value, you'd take almost no damage from physical mobs like archers. And it'd also help against big-hitters as well.

You'd go EB and ES gear for the mana to support Arctic Armor, since mana regen is based on your max mana, getting EB would greatly increase your mana regen. Since AA uses like 200+ mana drain per second, you'd need all the regen you can get to support it. Discipline is a no brainer, as the ES it gives, bolstered by Inner Force and ES nodes, makes it give more mana back than it reserves.

Use Grace+Determination+IR for defenses. And Eva/ES or Arm/ES gear whatever is better and easier to find the sockets you need. You might have to temporarily use some ES gear if your mana isn't sufficient enough, until you can support AA with just hybrid gear. Your chest will probably have to be pure Armor or Armor/Eva, to more easily get the preferable sockets, BGRRR.

5-6 Link Freeze Pulse would be:
- Freezing Pulse (You'd need high % Quality to make up for a lack of Faster Projectiles)
- Cold to Fire
- LMP/GMP (Personal choice)
- Blood Magic (You won't have enough mana regen after AA)
- Life Leech
*6th link* Faster Casting/Fire Penetration/Added X Damage (Probably Faster Casting)

(For a 4 Link chest, you'd probably go FP, C2F, LMP, ManaLeech)

You could also try the new Unique Lantern, though it only has 3 sockets. IceSpear, Mana Leech, CritDmg would be best on it for single-target damage.
