Loading screen freeze when switching areas after newest update

I also solved my problem, by deleting everthing in My Games/path of exile under the documents folder(created a backup ofcourse). But I don't know what exactly was causing it.

i deleted everything but its still happening, half of the load screens i need to alt+f4 and restart, its getting pretty annoying.

My game is completely broken and unplayable atm I get stuck on loading screen every other zone, cant play more than three zones without getting stuck and in need to alt f4.

I also have the same problem. ONly the first area loads, everything else gets stuck on the loading screen! Changing Graphic settings make the game freeze. Didn't help reinstalling it, Verify game cache or any other "fix" i could google! Happened maybe a week ago or so!

Same issue here, i can log in oriath or any other act. But i cant go anywhere from here, my hideout or acts. Strange. Any solution ?

Can we get a fix on this problem?

This literally just started happening to me at some point last night as well. Load into first town no problem, freeze trying to go anywhere else.

Tried all solutions, nothing worked.

I will add however, that I can tell that I actually DO load up in the new zone (based on audio) and if I force close then relog, it logs me into the new town (that wouldn't load up). Which tells me my toon did port to the new town, but game is spazzing out on the 2nd load screen for some reason (regardless of where I try to go).

I had the exact same issue. The initial loading to Karui Shores was okay, but trying to enter any other location just froze the game on loading screen. But I managed to fix this issue by clearing unneeded cache files. Go to Documents/My Games/Path of Exile and clear Countdown, DailyDealCache, Minimap, MOTDCache and ShopImages folders. Just delete everything in these folders. After I did that, I launched the game and the issue was fixed for me.
