There are several free programs out there that allow for this. Just install one of those.

it may not fit GGG's budget, but i dunno.
Party only VOIP would be a good idea. and no, installing a 3rd party VOIP software doesnt work for public (PUG) parties, people ask for public VOIP for a reason. If it was friends who wanna party, then sure 3rd party VOIP would work. VOIP doesnt have to be black or white. |

" Thank you, intelligent person. Things don't have to be all or nothing, black or white, etc. I think in-game VOIP would be awesome. It works really well in DDO (Dungeons and Dragons Online), and I would think it would work well in this game, as well. I assume that in games with smaller, more mature communities, in-game VOIP works better than in larger games with younger communities. It's also important for it to be introduced early, or people could get used to not using it and shunning it when it's implemented (like in WoW). |

" from the point of view of having VOIP, the voice chat in DDO works well. from a technical can-actually-hear-everyone-in-the-party and dont-have-to-continuously-tweak-the-volumes-and-settings-to-rebalance-people-every-single-day point of view the DDO voicechat is a complete failure. some form of voice chat would be a nice option, maybe a little way in the future.
