Kill Burtok Challenge

Using Puncture on boss when he is 1 hp gives you credit for the challenge, right? (Southbound, Speaker's Wreath for minions)

There's a really easy way to do this:

You're going to use:

1. Southbound gloves
2. Two skill gems: Puncture and flame dash (or another movement skill that let you dash through his bone walls)
3. A bow with one blue and one green socket

How to do this:

- Socket the bow with flame dash (or another movement skill) and Puncture and equip it in your 2nd weapon slot. We're only going to use this in the end of the fight.

- Equip Southbound Gloves and get Burtok to 1HP using whatever skills your build in using. Avoid using ailments at this point since they will BYPASS the gloves.

- When he's at 1HP, use weapon swap to switch to your bow.

- Now, as soon as he casts bone wall on you, make sure you get a couple of stack of bone roil on you.

- When you're affected by Bone Roil, dash through the bone wall (unless you can tank it) and shoot him with puncture using your bow. Since you are wearing Souhtbound gloves, the actual hit won't damage him, but as puncture is guaranteed to inflict bleed, the bleed will BYPASS the gloves as bleed is an ailment, thus killing him.

This is how I did it in my 1st try. Hope it works for you guys as well. :-)

Otherwise you cannot inflict bleeding I guess.
Almost lost my sanity here, did over 20 maps with multiple "apparent" successes, but failing every time...

I have a toxic rain build and I get him below 10% then switch to puncture with culling strike and wait for boil to be on me. I have done this 9 times already but I must be doing something wrong because I fail every time??????

I got it done by waiting until he trapped me in his little bone ring, letting him turn it into spikes and then kill him... wam bam... done

Maybe I did it wrong and got lucky, but he does apply a debuff to you, my assumption was that it was like the kill the basilisk while stonned challenge.

Every time I see someone complain about challenges being, well, challenging, I always have to smirk about one particular challenge that, despite me not being one that usually goes far beyond the 2nd reward of any given league, had me trial and error for a long time.

It was a challenge in Hallowed ground. Have every boss being killed within I think it was 5 seconds or so, (meaning it goes from 5 bosses, including mirror brutus, to 0 within that timespan.

ANd know what? Some people did it effin solo.

Challenges are there to be challenging. If you can't think of a way to get them done, global chat is a friend and helper. Please drop the nasty attitude though...

Managed to do thi with 8-th try.
Warchief totem + Kondo Pride + chance to bleed + southbound gloves
