Game is permanently blurry!

Ever since an update about 1-2 weeks ago, everything in the game that's 3D (ie. everything that's not UI) is blurry, as if it's trying to fully load textures and shaders but never does. So I can't play!
This is on a MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Early 2013, 8GB RAM) running 10.15.7 using Steam.

I did discover if I play in windowed mode, shrink the window down to the smallest size possible, and set sun shadows and textures to their lowest settings, then the objects in the menu system and Lioneye's Watch render without the blur, but the rest of the game is still blurry (and thus still unplayable).
I've got the exact same problem on my iMac with Mojave (10.14.6)
(Retina 5K, 27 inch, late 2015, 32 GB RAM)

Impossible to play the game unless I do windowed mode and shrink it down but I can't endure to play it that way..
disable dynamic resolution?

Hello all...I'm afraid I have bad news for Mac OS users here...don't expect a fix to this issue soon. I've had the exact same problem and the reply from tech support at GGG is that the Mac OS client is "experimental" and they may be future changes to address this...my impression is that this issue is not a high priority for them to fix at this time (or ever?).

Basically, look out for updates and give it a try...but I'm not holding out for this to be fixed soon.

Tried that. I tried every setting. Only ones that helped (and only in the smallest window size) were sun shadows and textures. But reducing those only made the menu system and Lioneye's Watch ok.

Ugh, that sucks, especially since the game was perfectly playable a month ago.
