Character level and location not showing to steam friends

How do I get this to show up for friends? It only shows I am playin PoE, nothing else.

Additionally, I have been looking into this and have been able to play via the Steam game client with my character information displayed via the Steam overlay & the friends' list - are you saying you cannot see a friends' information when they are playing via the Steam game client? |

" Well the thread was moved by a GGG member but now they are claiming that it wasn't moved. Go figure ?? :) Maybe you can make a screenshot or short youtube video showing the problem because as you can see, Lisa_GGG belives it's working ok. So properly more detailed information is needed here. GL exile. |

You must be playing through Steam, using the client that Steam has available. It MUST be installed using this link, otherwise the requested data you want to show will not show up within your friends UI.
