Maw of conquest enchant / crafting

So question since it is a league specific item which is locked behind that league mod/mission type for maps just as rolling headhunter strictly in a nemesis modded map would it be possible with current map device to start a legion encounter and use trash to treasure on a steel circlet which already has the enchant i want (temp chains 30) and get the maw of conquest from it?

This as i currently see 1 on the market but i am not very rich to just buy it and test it out.

Legion-exclusive items like Maw of Conquest are simliar to Breach-exclusive items. They can be dropped only from certain mobs of a certain Legion.

You have a chance to get a Xoph's Blood if you kill Xoph or if you kill a mob in a Xoph's breach. You cannot chance a Xoph's blood.

Likewise, you have a chane to get a Maw of Conquest by killing a mob from a Vaal Legion. You cannot chance it.

League-exclusives like Headhunters can be chanced because they were actual, literal "league-exclusive": during Nemesis, any mob could drop an Headhunter, therefore it could have been chanced.
