Make harvest crafts cost the materials of the craft to use.

That would be defenitely an (big?) annoyance. Crafting traders will just sell directly from their gardens to circumvent the horticrafting penalty. Depending on the craft/demand i don't think the waittime would counteract it beeing a valid tradeoption.
If u really want to shut down harvest trades you would have to make the item char/account bound hence intradable (thers mby another way but it's the only "solution" i can think of). And yeah they have def. time to code that.... That said if some1 really wants his/her perfect tailored item week one pls. be my guest, do it and have fun. From my view you completely are missing the whole point as in like darkness farming but what does it affect me? As somewhere mentioned. Harvest is alot of fun, esp. with it beeing wireless now.
