Single Map Sustain

Hi I have really Problems sustaining a single map.
I try to run Dunes (t15) I have 3slotted dunes as favorite map and no other favorite map. I chisel every map and run map scarabs and sextants.
after 10 maps dune still got no drop. Is there anything more?? am I doing something wrong ?
PS: Atlas is 140/168

How is your atlas set up? Only maps on your atlas can drop naturally. Be sure that your atlas Dunes is t15.

Pretty sure quant and rarity doesnt affect map drops. What you want is pack size.

10 maps is a pretty low sample size. Could just be unlucky. Frustrating I know, wish every map boss dropped a map lol
You can also socket a T16 and a few T14 maps as favorite, they wont affect the T15 drops.

Usually you can't sustain a single favorite map, but 4-5 is doable - if you run out of T15 favorite maps run T16 favorite maps, then T14 favorite maps, then get back to T15.

Horizon orbs. And you could try the harvest craft that exchanges maps for others.
Try not to have other areas containing revealed T15 maps. That's probably too obvious to point out.

3:1 recipe from parent maps.

Trade for them.

Give up on the idea that you have to do ONLY the map you're interested in.

I tried a few times to have a single region with T15/T16 maps, and ended up with fewer T15/T16 maps then I started with. Anyone tried this method with T15/T16 maps and worked?
Run zana missions, any colour. Buy maps from zana. It’s that simple.

That's just a streak of bad luck. Doesn't mean the two things were related.
One big answer is "Zana".

When you run maps, always make it a Zana mission. Check out what maps she offers and pick the ones that you need. After each mission visit Zana in the hideout and see which maps she is selling. I've filled many atlas holes doing that.

As another poster mentioned, you can do the 3:1 map exchange with Zana. Use maps one tier lower than the one you are looking to get. If one combo of the three maps doesn't get what you want, you can swap out different instances of the same map and that will often change what she will offer to give you for the trade-in.
Ok I got it now the Problem ist that it is a tier 15 map.
It is not Problem sustaining a tier16 map. unsocket all watchstones to 3.
Run the tier 16map in the only 4 socketed region. Chisel and alch and it works for me :DD thanks for the replys ;)
