Give us the option to DISABLE texture streaming

ill take longer load times over ever seeing pow res textures that then pop in big res ones and invisible models that suddenly pop in, such a jaring thing to see.

In any case it's baffling to release what seems to be a mostly liked League, new content etc. and then mar the experience with mandatory imperfect Texture Streaming. It's not the first time they've done this either, they did the same when adding the more realistic lighting/shadow system a couple versions ago (Delve league iirc). This has basically made me play the game far less. It's just annoying. The option to turn off this streaming crap should definitely exist. It's just a game.

Texture streaming is great, it saved me from dropping fps on Sirus by having no textures load besides the last split second of his beam for the entire fight. Glad I am not deaf and I can listen where he is.
Complete removal of the game and reinstall didn't do anything, my game still runs great with textures not loading or taking up to 30secs to load. I get better fps and less stutter so I am told so its better gameplay /s. Last edited by dupie#7991 on Jan 30, 2021, 5:02:54 PM

I'm running on 40 fps with texture streaming with an RTX 2070 Super! My CPU is an I7-9700K so there should be never problems after years.. GGG fix your engine! |

If the virtual peacocks can't strut around in town with the latest absurdly-expensive fireworks display, why would they ever purchase any cosmetic MTX? |
