any use for extra fragments of knowledge?

i find it very annoying that things you can't use up drop at uneven rates (i swear its some kind of complex- i detest wasting something). every other fragment can either be used alone (sacrifice, mortal) or drop at mostly even rates (shaper guardians, elder guardians, and pale court prophecies).

is there any use for my fragments of knowledge?
