Maven Uber Eldar

Please for the love of all of us none hardcore gamers.
Can you please make Maven witness default off & only turn on when you click the button.
For example after not being on this afternoon, I get on and want to take on Uber Eldar again. I boot up buy the fragments and and hit go. Walk in to Uber Eldar and my heart drops. I had witness on when I was mapping last. Welp.... There goes 2ex. I tried my best in the fight but lost for I was no where near ready for it.
Can we get maven witness to default off after every witness please?
At least for fragment bosses maybe get a are you sure you wanna maven this boss.

Last night I started my first uber elder and forgot about maven button. Man it was so intense, last portal I beat the them . Got my watcher`s eye, but man was so tough, Initially I wanted to quit but if you have patience and move like the clock always it`s doable.

Fun fact, even if you have already captured Shaper and Elder in their respective Arenas and have her blocked there, Maven will still watch the Uber Elder fight. Decided to try it out this weekend because i was curious and got rewarded with the most fun uber elder fight i've had in a while. Only a mark of the shaper as rewards though but oh well.

Is there any reason to have Maven witness Uber Elder, I don't see any benefit other than adding more dimension to the fight. It doesn't offer any Uncharted Realms progress or alternate loot unless I'm missing something?
