Eradicator + Maven healing = Impossible and broken?

Just had this happen to me in Expedition 3.15 on a t16 map. I'm currently running through red maps without effort, but this boss fight was impossible. Died 3 times, then just gave up. Maven just kept full healing the boss every transition phase...
