Eradicator + Maven healing = Impossible and broken?

I have a Primordial Pool, Level 81 monster map. Manor of Madness Eradicator boss fight.

I have spent 5-10 minutes fighting this boss and it constantly full heals.

I do damage, boss becomes invulnerable, floats around in a ball of lightning, by the time it can be attacked again it's back at 100% health. Rinse and repeat.

It seems like is Maven is present (and doing the boss heal) this encounter becomes impossible to complete?

I did a "bug" in game and it's 2,588,036,416... I don't expect any screenshots are helpful here. The map mods are pretty average, and I don't believe they're even active in these fights? Even if they are none would matter for difficulty.

You can try bringing frost bomb to counter his healing while you're fighting him. Of course it won't stop healing while invuln but it may add enough to your net dps to kill. Frost bomb is a useful thing to have around this league due to anti-heal utility. (You can keep in your inventory and just swap in in desperate situations if you don't have open gems)

Good idea, however my friend that tried was a cold character that had reduced regen (which is why I had him come try). Doesn't seem to matter. Boss isn't slowly healing over time, Maven seems to be instantly restoring massive amounts of health even during invuln phases.

I want to bump this because honestly I have not seen anyone posting about it and so far any responses here/reddit aren't reliable or valid solutions.

As far as all of us can tell, this is a "game-breaking" bug for this encounter.

just tried twice and had the same problem..... its impossible to beat if you cant insta phase the boss atm between back to back invuln phases from him and the maven and the healing if you cant insta-phase him in the small windows you have you literally cant beat him at the moment

I don't see this on the bug list page which makes me wonder why? Considering I've encountered this twice (once for my own map and another time for a friend). Two different builds, both attempting various things to counter it...

I don't think "instant phase" even matters here. I almost instantly phase the boss.. but the "phase" is the boss not taking damage similar to Izaro in lab, and doing her animations + turning into a floating ball of lightning.... then lands and can be attacked again but each time she lands she fully heals.

I think the issue is Maven's heal has a cooldown, however the invuln phase on this fight makes it so the time you're allowed to do damage isn't enough between heals.

This fight, it doesn't matter if you do 100,000,000,000 damage, the boss stops taking damage at ~80% life, 30 or so seconds of flying around invuln, then lands... and gets healed (from what I can tell) either during the flying phase or instantly when landing. "maybe" if you do enough damage you could continue to phase her but I highly doubt it... plus I think Maven heals while the boss is standing there getting ready to fly (but can't be damaged)

just had the same thing now, impossible fight

It just a DPS check , as well as the annoying phase in to moving dust thing and then back to human form but suspend in the air
