Last ritual altar not activating (2/3 altars)

I entered a Basilica map with "Fortune favors the bold" which gave me a beyond encounter.
Cleared the first 2 altars. The mobs from the last altar were the final 30 on the map. After clearing them, the altar stayed inactive.
