mud geyser boss didn't spawn

i was doing a map and i notice i didn't get completion, checked the atlas and mud geyser wasn't complete so i walked around and nothing, didn't see the boss at all and if i had killed offscreen or something i'd get completion and i didn't get it. i had Maven observing the map
