Add Training dummy to hideout

Would be nice to have a dummy to test skills on and it should give a readout of dps

I've been saying this for 5+ years. Good luck on them listening lol. But yeah it's literally the EASIEST thing to add into the game as well. It's been in MMORPG's for decades.
It would be fairly meaningless...

What resists should it have? What mitigations? ...and so on...

What I think it SHOULD have however... is REFLECT :-p
The funny part is... there already is a decoration "Training Dummy".

Stats: 0% to all resistances, 0% to physical damage reduction, Cannot Evade Enemy Attacks, Unwavering (as there would be no ailment threshold). Not sure about how to deal with the actual elemental ailments, though. We can't just give it 100% damage reduction, unfortunately.

I can think about Grim Dawn and Dungeon Defenders as two games that introduced the whole Target Dummy DPS Check thing. It is definitiley feasible, it just requires some thinking.
...AND elemental/physical reflect... :-D

If you think it's meaningless then don't use it then

Seems like good stats. Just have full effect of ailments at the start, and then in the future you could change the health and resistance values as you want. You can do this with the dummy in league of legends.

It obviously would have options to set on it... All they would have to do is go by what an average resistant normal mob / boss / shaper / sirus would be. You set it to the one you want and attack it for whatever time you set the stopwatch to. Your results would be highest single damage hit and average DPS after it's over.

Mouse over your skill... or read your main skill in the character sheet... its very accurate.

It's really not accurate at all. Any knowledgeable player will tell you that. There are so many factors it doesn't take into consideration.
