So has anyone yet found out what the "Vaal Flesh Merchant" actually is / does and is it worth picking up on the atlas passive tree?

he appears in incursions and drops some currency stacks, doesn't seem particularly exciting but a reasonable boost if your in the area anyway.

Confirm, saw what it is myself.
Vaal Flesh Merchant is one of those Shadestalker. You know, the phantom monsters from the Atzoatl temple with the killer Ice dagger and the dash that damages you AND make them go Shade Form, therefore invincible for 3-4 seconds or so? Yeah, one of those. And, it goes full force with its ability. This means not only it holds more life than the average Architect, but also that it will dash and become invulnerable for those 3-4 aforementioned seconds from time to time. And, hold onto your bum - differently from Architects, damaging it will NOT earn you extra seconds of time. AND it has no minimap icon to help you find it. All of this for 1-3 stacks (phew, at least they are stacked) of random base currency. Useful only if you finish your incursions with 10 extra seconds of time, all the times. I'm in T10, so far did not notice them in incursions, but noticed I'm getting a stack of 3-4 alts/transmute/scraps/etc. Did not get alchs or chaos yet, probably I'll respec the points if I don't get better currency after T14.

The stacks are dead Vaal Flesh Merchants. Guess you just steamroll over them, if you did not notice. Which is a good thing.
Speaking of which, how do you respec Atlas passives? You earn it after a certain tier? |
