Shaper of Flames (Elementalist node) not working?
![]() I think the node is not working as intended? It should be ignites 100% right? Since the node states "Your hits always ignite" But when I check my default attack and skills, the chance to ignite remains at 50%. I thought it was a visual bug and tested it on mobs but monsters only get ignited at a 50% chance when they should have been immediately receiving ignites every time an attack lands on them. I've not tested it out yet but I hope it won't be the same for Shaper of Storms node. Can GGG verify this? Seeing the same Character tab bit, but not the same behavior.
The 50% chance to ignite on the character sheet is coming from a set of allocated passive nodes: Breath of Flames (and a small passive leading to it), Holy Dominion, and Holy Fire. "Always" is a thing that shouldn't be affected by chance, though I agree it should have a character tab entry to show its effect of "Always Ignite: Yes". I went to Act 6 Twilight Strand to test this with 50% chance to ignite on the character sheet and with Shaper of Flames allocated, and every normal attack that hit ignited an enemy, over several packs of enemies. |
