[math] Why i cant facetank Sirus "Meteor-Maze"

So today i defeated my first Sirus, (no spoiler what happens to oriath). But i wonder why i cannot tank him with 12k ES. when i do the math i should easy survive him even if he always get MAXroll on his damage.

Maybe he has heavy pen like uber atziri double flame blast. Can you tank that? I remember back when you could get 100% fire res I couldnt.

The "small beam hits" and his big laser apply a debuff which increases damage taken. If you facetank them they might initially deal not a lot of damage but your defences become the same as those of a paper towel lying at the beach as long as the debuff is present

Why would you want to tank it, isn't it more fun to dodge ;)

Which meteor are we talking about? 24517 is the max damage of his first level meteor maze, i.e the one with just one wall and 1 exit disregarding getting shocked you should indeed be able to this. The second and third tier mazes do about 4k damage extra each so you probably won't be able to tank those.

" The other 2 are also shown on POE.DB, you just have to scroll further down to find them. There is a number behind the tag indicating which one it is. The one you mean is meteormaze1 or something the other are meteormaze2 and 3 respectively. |
