operation timed out crash.

has happened a few times now when using currency. operation times out, crashes to login screen, get put in a queue and instances close.

happened to me like 5 times since morning already...

Similar things happened to me after completing heist contracts (quests) while sorting stuff in stash

This disconnect happened to me a couple of times while in town (Lioneye's Watch). I don't have to do anything specific, so maybe it's certain effects from other characters.

First I played a legacy corrupted rare Vaal temple map for standard atlas completion, which worked fine except I got no credit for completing Vaal temple (deathless, 0 monsters left, Niko daily). Maven showed up and gave me her orb, which I applied to my map device.

I had vendored all my other maps for new ones and ran a corrupted rare new t15 lava lake with 1 Atziri fragment and scarabs for breach, unique items and divination cards iirc and Niko daily. Metamorph spawned randomly.
Since I didn't know I was supposed to press the Maven button on the map device, I didn't do it.

Sirus appeared occasionally and bombarded me. When I entered the boss arena, I dropped dead although the encounter seemingly had not yet begun; also no sign of Maven. I resurrected in my hideout, and while vendoring my loot I got kicked to login screen as OP described. All 5 remaining portals had disappeared, lost half of the map, the metamorph encounter and 1 Sulphite mine.

Then tried another t15 lava lake, this time normal rarity and with no further mods except Alva daily, and again Metamorph spawned randomly. I had wondered whether I now had lost my Maven storyline but discovered the button on the map device and pressed it.

I ran one of the incursion, skipped the others because I got my room, and cleared the entire map before entering the boss room. About in the middle of the map a gem reached level 20.

The boss fight started normally, Maven showed up and bombarded me but Sirus hadn't been present in this map. During the first heart phase "the operation timed out", and again I had lost the map and all portals.

The gem was set back to level 19 and hit 20 soon after when I tested in Reliquary, although I did keep some (all?) loot, so I assume the game had already failed somewhere in the middle of the map.

It has happened to me as well quite a few times this morning.

In the following zones:
Crystal Veins
Highgate (multiple times)
Normal Labyrinth

Running all the way back to Crystal Veins was annoying enough but Labyrinth is really, really annoying to have to start over.

I have same problem every 15 minutes 'operation times out'. Boring...

I've been getting "opperation timed out" crash to desktop frequently. I don't know if /debug helps but I've tried it. Happens with clicking currency, npcs, and just moving. I used Zana's free warbands mod on map, time out in the map, log back in with no map and no loot in inventory. No league has ever gave me this error. This is making maps progression straight depressing.

Has been happening all day to me too, even when just idling in town for 10 sec.

If the leveling wasn't tedious enough, I think I had to run every zone in act 2 3 times today. It was the absolute worst leveling session I have ever experienced in POE. I hope it will improve. I dread running labs with this level of unstability.

Happening a lot to me too.

it's getting slight;y annoying even for a mild mannered man like me...

You can lose resources this way as well if it crashes while youu are using some currency.
