The skill feels great to use, is defensively good as far as melee goes, and isn't expensive to get going and even to get it good enough to complete endgame. If anything, it's very noob-friendly actually.

I would say a noob-trap is this post, in all fairness.

I was about to say the same thing lol. The irony is that a newb wouldn't so easily discern the sarcasm in such context, so this is just downright misleading.

Being a big fat noob myself, I entered this thread hoping to learn something, And I actually had to pause on this comment.

I have 4 Cyclone toons and for someone like me who doesn't really "get" the game in it's entirely, I can clear max tier maps with a fair amount of consistency with them, whereas most other builds fail, or at least they are much harder to use and require much more finesse.

For any potential noobs reading, Cyclone is likely the easiest and most noob-friendly build in the game. Not only that but it's very effective and consistent- not to mention fun. It's one of the few builds where you can move and clear at the same time- Most, if not all other builds require you to be stationary when attacking, this gives the enemy time to target you, stun you, freeze you etc etc. With Cyclone you are always moving and always damaging. There is no downtime, no stop/starting, you just literally spin-to-win.

My Noob-Trap no1 is leveling gems (SSF issue)

I followed some nice builds, easy leveling, easy mapping, got to red maps and Lvl 90+ quite easy, then I hit the big wall. This happened more than once. Somewhen I noticed that all my main damage and support gems were at level 16-18. The downside of following great build guides.

Lesson learned: don't complain unless your gems are 20/20 or better.

Don't you see how much you contradict yourself? If you're a noob and you don't think that cyclone is a noob trap although you yourself use it then... why are you making this comment?

Don't you see how you don't read anything in context?

I'm a noob, but obviously not a completely new player. I even said that this very comment gave me pause- as in it didn't register as sarcasm until I ran the numbers in my head.

Way to be extremely anal and argumentative though lol.
