Wild Strike + Trinity Support sounds good

trinity support is insane. if you can keep its uptime, which doesn't seem too hard, its better than awakened gems
As for gem setup Wild Strike + Multistike, Elemental Damage with Attacks + Inspiration is core. Trinity Support with high resonance WS should generate will outperform Elemental Penetration. Last spot is Ancestral Call/Ruthless for clear/boss swap. The ritual multi-boss setup might even be good to leave AC socketed and not go Ruthless.

I'm going Necro Detonate Dead tank for league start. If you play WS, give an update on how it goes. I might make it my second build. Haven't played in a long time but it sure was fun and appears to be better now.

It won't be my league start either but i plan on trying a WS build at one point in the league.
Would Elemental Hit be viable with the Trinity support too, or is WS just straight up better than EH?

I was just thinking because EH cycles through the elements in order instead of being random you can guarantee getting an extra 50% penetration with Elemental Equilibrium.
Huh. I already had my Wild Strike Raider planned, but hadn't considered Trinity at all. Thanks! :)

This is what I was thinking as well. Elemental Hit on either a BOW on a Deadeye/Raider, or TWO one handers on a Shadow with Assassin Spec. The problem with Elemental hit is that it doesn't have good mob clear but great single target dps. Bow you can socket GMP/Volley/Pierce. It seems Elemental Equilibrium goes great with Elemental Hit. I tried it on a level 18 Shadow with 4 sockets and the cost was already 18 Mana per cast which is insane. Definitely need a clarity or a Praxis Paua Ring.

The problem is that elemental hit gains so much damage from going all fire with avatar of fire. Going tri-elemental hit you would lose all that damage and im not sure if trinity would make up for it.
Trinity should be by far the biggest damage boost support for ele hit with enough attacks per sec. For a raider avatar of fire is out of range anyways, plus they scale with projectiles so ele hit would be a solid choice. I am either going ele hit or wild strike on my raider tbh.
You can play ANY melee skill with Trinity support, so long as you use either Voidforge (2H) or the new Heist experimented sword base type (1H) -

https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Voidforge

https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Anarchic_Spiritblade

You can also play Discharge btw, so long as you actually cycle all 3 charges.

Edit: Also works with Doomfletch's Prism, for bow builds! :D

Damn totally forgot about these. Now that opens up so many possibilities. Thanks!
