It's for the sake of attributes that suggest Ethereal Knives instead of Bladefall in the guide (though I do reference Bladefall often). We will require 111 Dex with this build because of supports for AW. So having EK fully levelled (which requires 98 Dex) doesn't matter. Bladefall does require 155 like you said...and I strongly prefer this spell over EK when it's used for Culling Strike. All that said, we just want lingering blades. You're right that the damage doesn't matter. Somewhere in my head is telling me that the higher the gem level of EK and Bladefall is, the more Lingering Blades we get? But that may not be a thing.
