Technical Support (Path of Exile 1) - Key combination not working anymore - Forum

Hi, After GGG introduced the combination of CTRL + Function keys, I had no problems, but 2 leagues ago I started experiencing an issue where certain combinations won't work. Two leagues ago, I had problems on combining Smoke Mine with Flame Dash using keys F1+F2 where throwing the mines and detonating with a custom key (`) would not detonate them. Recently in Heist, this has been solved, but when I use CTRL + F1 or CTRL + F3, nothing happens. If I change the combination to CTRL + V for example, it works. That said, my keyboard is not the problem since I tested several keyboard, one of them being brand new. Out of the game, both keys CTRL and F1 (and also F3) work just fine. This is actually affecting my gameplay a little bit and I would immensely appreciate any help. It's possible your Function keys might be interacting with your device or peripherals which is causing issues with them being used with our client. You could try toggling your function keys and see if that helps. Feel kinda stupid.. lol Thanks for your quick answer, it was indeed an application. I just thought it wasn't anything like that, since I don't use the function keys for anything else, even for that application.. Anyways, closed everything and tried, all good, opened everything, issue happened. Closed app by app to find out the culprit. I'll just uninstall that.. Thanks again for your attention, Al_GGG!
