The sap on Algor Mortis
what is the value, since it is not generated by lightning damage?

You should see its value with Advanced Description, since it now shows on the Experimental shields from Heist.
by the way, Reddit says it's 6%, Scorch is -10%, Brittle is 5% Last edited by Maxtrux#0762 on Dec 19, 2020, 5:34:58 PM

Being on Standard has nothing to do with Advanced Description. You just have to toggle it on from Options. Honestly, I am shocked this is not on by default.
But, yes. "Sapped enemies deal 6% Less damage" is the right way to translate it. Last edited by Maxtrux#0762 on Dec 20, 2020, 7:43:47 AM

actually, advanced description sais it depends of the lightning damage of the hit, its just the chance to sap that is related to chilling areas. in my case, lightning damage close to nothing, so no joy.

Yes, apparently I was already educated before on this...
In case of Algor Mortis, your lightning damage only has a chance to (also?) deliver Sap while enemies are in chilling areas. Think of it as an extra bonus for lightning builds that have Creeping Frost support in order to get the best out of Hypothermia, or something like that. Niche, by the way. |
