[3.13] BLEED BOW GLADIATOR Build 2021 EDITION. League starter & All CONTENT viable!

Definitely going to have lower boss DPS without the double damage mod, but mapping will still be good (trash mods die instantly and explode). Assailum might still carry the build, and hopefully we're losing less than double damage, since the mod replacing double bleed damage will hopefully be strong-ish.

Even removing that elder mod from bow in POB and changing the crafted %physical to T1-T2 Phys%, we still only drop down to around 41 million dps which should still be plenty to kill everything in the game.
I suppose we can try to squeeze in the new corrupting fever gem. It essentially feels a bit like plague bearer, only for bleeds, so should fit in this build quite well.

Petrified blood+Blodthirst support shenanigans are also something to check, however, we have quite strong supports already, not sure if it will be good enough to warrant losing 17% of ehp (and the need to compensate for staggered damage).

We also seem to have lost the juicy passives set with Red Storm notable (minus 14% dot multi and minus 30% inc phys damage combined), resulted in loss of another 10% total damage in pob.

I'm becoming not so sure in this build for a starter...

We can travel to the north of the scion life tree to grab Veteran Soldier. It's 5 points in total and aside from the +20 str we get 40% inc phys damage, 14% DoT multi and +20 max life.

There was a good discussion on the POE subreddit about Petrified blood, and how the tradeoffs are more intense than one would initially expect. Overleech seems to be the strongest gain from Petrified Blood.

Yep, good point, totally missed this one. In this case we're pretty much on same level dps-wise minus elder mod. My enthusiasm is back.

And we have quite good leech numbers too. Also main danger of Petrified blood seems to be oneshots from larger damage. With this build armour levels and divine flesh we should be quite ok, probably. If only we had so much gem slots..

It's going to be interesting to try, at least.
I checked the new bleed mod.
Overall with all the nerfs the build lost 30% damage.

So, the Elder mod got replaced by "+51-59% to damage over time multiplier for bleeds".

So a lot less than the 100%more it was giving before, but could've been worse. As this build was always more focused on defences than other bleed bow builds, will the damage loss be harder felt you think?

Is it maybe an idea to wait longer with some of the defensive layers until you have a decent enough bow/other gear to not notice much at that point? Or will it still be pretty viable to slowly build up the block/chaos res+divine flesh while levelling/gearing up?

Usually it's a one turn transition to divine flesh. Once you roll the correct xibaqua you should already have all cluster jewels ready at hand
