Character Limit and December Events

Can you please tell me; If I've reached my limit for number of created characters, will I be able to play in the three December events without having to delete one or more of my existing characters?

Seeing as the characters created for the december events are 'voided' anyway and also we are told not to delete these 'voided' characters until after the prizes have been awarded, it would be a shame if these temporary characters added to a players total character limit.

Yes I know more character slots can be purchased, but I don't think it would be fair to expect players to have to do this in order to play a temporary event.

You know most of us just take everything off a charector we barely use and just delete them after every league you delete your league charector or the older un dated one. Or you can buy one but really theirs no need, when theirs no way you use 24 characters to begin with. and every league you level someone. Keep your highest level of each class and or the newest build you like and scrap the rest or a few of them, Alot of the older characters have all had their passives reset anyway so they are essentially fully leveled new characters in standard or hardcore. If you have old Race characters in their that couldn't transfer as some of the old race guys just go errored, you just delete them if you can't switch them to normal or hardcore. Oh and don't make sure to either take everything out of the inventory before deletion or sell it all first then delete.

Why would you delete level 100 character? I keep all of them. And I got 9 character to level 100 in Heist alone.
Tho I don't mind paying 2 extra slots for 2 void league characters anyway.

19 ascendancy classes + 7 base classes mean there is 26 character slot required if you want to get every ascendancy to level 100.

Why would you delete level 100 character? I keep all of them. And I got 9 character to level 100 in Heist alone.

Sure thats up to you But since i make a charector almost every league since before leagues became a big thing, and since the closed and open beta's i would have had to pay thousands to keep everyone. Especially when why since you make at least one every league and it typically is the same or similar ones you previously made. For instance without deleting i would have over 30 Duelists that level, the same with Marauders, Witches, Assassins, Templars. The only one that i wouldn't have only a couple of or less than 10 is Scion.

I mean yeah its up to you and how you play. But I don't have money like that and neither does most people. So the people you delete will made again for most of them anyway at some time down the road. When a Respec happens btw it respecs your ascendancy's as well. And as i said before i do keep at least one of each at higher levels and all the items of builds i like, But again when a big patch comes along you lose your ascendancy and skills anyway and are free to do what you want with them.

So lets say you said you would need 26 Spaces actually you'll need at least 27 since you will need to be able to play in a new league every time and that is assuming you are going to delete that character after the league? if not you'll need way more. Most leagues i make at least 2 characters to 90 at least, So their has been 31 leagues, not counting all of the races and events i have been in which i create at least one charector sometimes 2 or more depending on what happens but lets just use the leagues.

31x2= 62 (+ the random events and races) So i have easily made over 100 characters since the beginning of poe. Again we will use the smallest number Extra spots cost 30p which i think i have bought one before when their was nothing to buy. 100x30 = 3,000 / 200 = 15 x 20$ = 300$ which is what i would have needed. If you have the money to spend sure be my guest, Other than that i would only Keep your 27 or 28 slots and delete the two slots after every league unless you don't play leagues, But thats essentially what i was telling you.

So you will need a extra couple slots if you want to keep 26 assuming they don't make new ascendancy's when 2.0 comes out which i think they will.
