Frozen after having Secrets of Suffering?

Hello guys, we knew the Secrets of Suffering will prevent enemy from Frozen.

But if, I mean if, my vortex was linked with Hypothermia Support (Supported Skills have +10% chance to Freeze Enemies which are Chilled), and I also have some freeze chance from passive tree and gears. In this situation, is vortex able to freeze enemy within it chill ground by its cold damage or cold damage over time? Assume the cold damage (or cold damage over time) is over the freeze threshold.

Then how about Creeping Frost?

"You cannot Freeze" means exactly that. You cannot Freeze, period. No matter if you do it with a big cold (or freeze-capable) hit, or build it up via Hypothermia, or apply it by being an Occultist. Also, DoTs cannot apply status ailments (Vortex would be able to freeze with its on-hit component, but not with its DoT comopnent. Scorching Ray applies a fire-DoT debuff but cannot ignite).

Also, differently from other "you" effects, this "You cannot Freeze" will apply even to all of your proxies - totems, mines and traps. It might not apply to your Minions (Perhaps Odif can help you here), in that case yes, you can apply a Hypothermia on a cold-damage minion (say, Ice golem) and be able to Freeze and Brittle an enemy, depending on how much you rely on your minion's hits in battle.
