if all the extra power we get from league to league has to be countered with buffs to monsters in the end?

You already have Belt Enchantment. That's the best they gave as "boost" for the labyrinth during Harvest.

Also, vouche for MarboroMan - stop buffing players if that means monsters get buffed too. 3-4 years ago having 1M DPS was god-tier, now it's barely minimum on T16
2 league later: WE raised monster life 500%

4 league later: 3 enchants on helm

8 league later: we raised monster life 2500%

10 league later: 6 enchant on helm

Ya forget poe 4.0 will have multiple 6L. Doesn t matter if you get 2 different your 6l in glove will have enchant for it s skill and your 6l in boots too.

Getting 2 cold enchant on a cold build do not seem that hard in trade league.

well, given that 2enchs/helm would make the 1-viable-enchantment helmets cheaper... for "the 95%"... and "the 5%" would get their leet helmets... i think it'd be fair

I have no idea what this assumption is based on. There is literally no reason whatsoever to assume this is true, and a LOT of reasoning to assume the opposite. I'll explain.

There's an analog for this in the game already: Watcher's Eye jewels. A Watcher's Eye with a single Tier 1 aura mod (by which I mean any useful mod people would actively seek out, for example ES on hit with Discipline), is already several exalts minimum. That price doesn't change at all whether it has 1 or 2 additional "useless" mods on it. The obvious conclusion here is that helmets with T1 enchants will be the same price with no other enchants as with an additional useless enchant; double-enchanted helms wouldn't help anyone get their desired helmet enchant cheaper because common sense and basic economic understanding suggest that the helmet would always be priced according to the most expensive enchantment on it.

Now, a Watcher's Eye with MULTIPLE T1 mods on it is worth dozens to hundreds of exalted orbs: the odds against this occurring combined with its power put it completely out of reach for anyone except the very top players. Adding double enchanted helmets to the game would be the same way: the very top players (not even the top 5%, closer to the top 0.1%) would see a tremendous increase in power but the game as a whole would be unaffected for everyone else.

Now, don't get me wrong: I personally don't have any problems with this idea. But if you're going to ask for something, you need to understand what it is you're requesting, since you quite clearly haven't thought too much about what the implementation would actually entail, how ludicrously out of reach these helms would be for anyone who doesn't get multiple level 100 characters each league, etc.
