Can't use any type of weapon in primary weapon slot 1

Yesterday during game play I lost the ability to swing my Primary weapon using a right mouse click, yet I can still swing my secondary weapon. I switched the weapon I had in my Primary slot and moved it to the secondary slot and I can now swing it. The weapon that I could swing in the secondary slot will not swing if placed in the Primary slot. I continued to play using just my secondary weapon and hoped that, maybe, when I leveled up some stat would reset and give me back use of the Primary weapon slot, but that was not the case.

To troubleshoot possibly a conflict between magic items or gems or other unknowns, I completely removed everything that I was equipped with, including flasks and equipped my self with just two normal weapons. Still I can not swing any weapon that is equipped as my primary weapon, even trying wands and bows and other weapons I don't typically use as a Marauder level 36. I even loaded POE on another PC to see if it was a hardware issue yet the problem persists on the new machine.

I can continue to play POE using just the secondary weapon slot

the correct terms for your right hand weapon is "main hand", the left arm is "off hand"

you can switch weapon sets to a "secondary weapon set" by pressing x.

screenshots would be nice, what type of weapn did you equip and what setting do you have assigned on your mouse skill bar?
